by Sandy K.

One of the most common crimes today is Identity Theft. How do we protect ourselves? Identity Theft comes in many forms. A criminal can retrieve your information from trash bins, by looking over your shoulder and watching you enter your credit card number, from bank statements and so many other ways. These criminals are experts in their career choice. And, I became a victim.

The way it happened to me was a little different. I discovered it from my credit report. In the same small town of 500 people, there was a woman who had the same first, middle and last name as me. I could not believe it. I would get phone calls from time to time from creditors wanting to be paid. Politely I would tell them it was not me and give them the last 4 digits of my social security number. However, because they could not find this other person they would assume that it was mine. Next thing I new it was on my credit report. What a mess. I had over 20 items on my credit report. Now I’m working on getting my reputation back. Deep Blue Credit Repair has helped me get my life back and it can help you. Remember the criminals come in all styles.
